DOUBLE PORTION.

Text: 2King 2:5
   :And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Memorise: 2King 2:9b
  I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

Message:
   For every position, responsibility,Office or power there is a price to be paid or that has been paid. Many people will cry for power,honor and wealth but they are not ready to pay any price or too lazy to do what is required.
    Elisha despite the test and discouragement from the prophets yet he never change his mind because he's  determined to pay for the uttermost power in his generation; Are you also ready to pay the price for the power and grace to succeed in this generation? where children of God and  youth are not different from the Babylonians(worldly people) Your lifestyle is your reply.
    Many people relate with God as broom and packer that we approach only when we need to sweep,if you handle him like that no double portion will ever come to you, start to take God seriously and serve faithfully with your time,money and in preaching christ to the lost souls, then you can access double portion of all things.
    You can't have the world and have God,but you can have God and also have all good things,God First.
  
Note:
  No price no power,if  you can't pay the price you can't get the crown,life is not bread and butter.

Prayer:
   Let the double portion of grace to rise beyond every limitation be released upon me and my family in Jesus name.
