AN IDEAL BISHOP

Text: 1Tim 3:2
  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Memorise:1Tim 3:3
  Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

Message:
  Many men of God we see in the society has taught us what and how they ought to be and live while bible says a bishop or an elder or a leader must be;
1.Blameless, meaning he must be void of any kind of evil or sin,must be the same both inward and outward in open and secret.
2. Husband of one wife; this is another evil in world,that even men of God as they called themselves divorce and remarry, or some will even keep another woman or lady somewhere where no man knows,if you engage in such act I tell you,your sin will soon find you out unless you repent.
3. Must be vigilant and sober,be watchful don't run after all that men run after,it may be devil deceiving them,bible says at the end of days if it were possible even the saint(elects) will be deceived, watch out!!!!
4. Must be of good behavior and be kind to people, remember Jesus told peter,feed my sheep not that the sheep should feed you(Paraphrased) that is the real Shepherd hood Job. God wants you to feed them with His words undiluted not feeding them with bad nutrition with stories of worldly people around the world.

Note:
  Bishop is just an overseer that takes care of the sheep, don't let your title run you mad,nothing special about it, YOU'RE JUST A SERVANT.

Oh Lord make all our ministers,bishops,elders,pastors,etc and including me right in your sight in Jesus name.
