Message:

1.0 AS A CULTURING POT: Character formation is often expected to take place in the home. The home is the learning place for characters and social behaviours. It is the place where mistakes could be made and correction given, with the intention of producing a wholesome individual.
1.1 AS A BASE FOR SHOOTING THE ARROWS: The home could be regarded as the platform where men and woman who have been thoroughly cultivated are sent to the larger society to win the world for Christ as well as make it a better place.
1.2  AS A PLATFORM FOR PERPETUATING HUMAN EXISTENCE
The home is the only place recognized by God for the creation of human beings that will not only populate the heart but fulfill prophesy concerning human existence.
PRESENT CHALLENGES FACING THE HOME
The blitz of Modernization: The world has come under intense modernization that comes in its wake jobs or preoccupation that often most times separate husbands from wives and children from their parents, depriving them of early incubation to become what God wants them to be. There are husbands staying abroad while the wives are in Nigeria
Change or collapse in value system: The sanctity of family values are being eroded on a daily basis through anti-Christ beliefs bordering on Gay Marriages, Live in, Trial Marriages, Pedophilic, etc
Also the increasing monetization of life is another significant bye product of our broken down value system. Churches are not spared of this, bearing in mind the increasing gale of utilitarian Gospel at the expense of holiness and other sound Christian worship that made early church thick.
