THE INHERITANCE OF MY FATHERS.

Text1King 21:2
  And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.


Memorise: 1King 21:3
    And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

Message:
Naboth is typical example of a Christians that have the full understanding of their inheritance in christ . Ahab desired Naboth's vineyard in substitute for a better one,according to him(Ahab) but the question is since the Ahab had a better vineyard why does he want another man's yard?; weapon of the devil.
1. He makes us feel we are miserable with our inheritance in Christ,which is not true.
2. He makes us feel the things of this world we lack are more important than our spiritual heritage,which is a deceit of the highest order.
3. Devil wants to take our inheritance in christ and give us worldly things because they are corruptible and of lesser in value.
   Many Christians have sold there inheritance of righteousness and holiness to the world to collect possition,money or fame,not knowing that everything the world offers is temporal and corruptible;
  Many sold there inheritance because of the position they are, forgetting they will not die there,when you leave what will heaven say about you?



Note:
  No matter your situation if you have not sold your inheritance in christ you are richer and wealthier than richest men of this world.

Prayer:
Oh Lord I refuse to sell my inheritance for any position, office or worldy wealth in Jesus name.
