Life in the Spirit PT. 2

INTRODUCTION;
    last week we laid a foundation for the understanding the efficiency of life in the spirit,but nevertheless;  There is mystery untold in the spirit realm which can only be exploited by spiritual people. I really want my readers to grow beyond a religious spirituality because it's hypocritical in nature. Life in the spirit is about freedom in every ramifications.

     LIFE IN THE SPIRIT IS ABOUT FREEDOM IN THE SPIRIT.
   
    The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.luke 4:18
   The first thing that happens after we become born again is the coming down of the Spirit of God, the release of the Spirit is so essential to every part of life you want live and that is why Jesus said to his disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they receive the promise of the father. Act 1:4,5&8
    Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before.

NLT:John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

8; But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth
   The life the Spirit can not be fully operational without the Holy spirit taking over such life, meaning as a Christian your utmost cry should be Holy Spirit come upon me in full. Do you we have problem in the church of God because 95% of members are canal so spiritually designed messages are not welcome because they can't understand it. At times as a Pastor I don't know what to do because I perceive that what am carrying(Message ) is big for this people to understand.
   Can we pray and tell God: Oh Lord release the fullness of your Spirit upon me that I may be able to walk and live in the spirit in the name.......

        FREEDOM IN THE SPIRIT
Many Christians are still attached to their demonic background because they refuse to upgrade in the spirit; if you refuse to upgrade your whatsapp you discover that very soon you will not be able to use it again so is the Spirit life if you don't upgrade from your canal life style you soon get outdated and useless in the body of Christ.
    Many ministers and Christians were once up and doing for Christ at the beginning but later in life you discover the just start moving back little by little and you visit and visit,encourage and encourage yet nothing changes,simple reason after they told us they gave their life they refuse to upgrade into the new life in the spirit and because;
     And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.” Matt.9:17
    You need to ask yourself have I upgraded my lifestyle?

       LIFE THAT IS NOT UPGRADED
  There are many ways to check if you're upgraded or not;
1. Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.1John :15
   Things you most in life determines the life you're living either in the spirit or not.
    If all you care about or things that gives you joy is the worldly things such as;
1. Fashion
2. Party
3. Material things etc is clear indication that though you maybe born again but you're not a Life in the Spirit .

             HOW TO UPGRADE
    Col. 3:1&2: Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
    Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.NLT
1. All you need to see must be heavenly things; it does not mean we can't work,dress, build house etc ofcause not but you constantly look up and not side ways because things and people around will distract you and cause an unprecedented diversion.
2. Earthy things are the promise of God for us so is not our running that will get it but the understanding we possessed and our spirituals standing to take our possession.
