SELL IT NOW!

TEXT: Matthew 19:16
   Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

MEMORISE:Matthew 19:21
   Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

MESSAGE:
    A man ask Jesus a very good and sensitive question about eternity even though many of us don't live with eternity in view, but this was the concern of this man though he has kept the law right from his youthful age,but requires something else apart from keeping the laws and the commandments.
      The man replied and tell Jesus I  have kept all the law from my youth,uhmm what fantastic C.V , can you say that with your mouth? That you have kept the law ,I know you will say you are no more under the law but under grace.
   Do you know many of us in the name of grace don't have testimony because character people see outside is not what we are inside and we keep people wandering if you're christians or not, you know there are many children of God that their testimony is damaged though they preach,teach and lead but inside and outside they are error
   Jesus told the man if you Need to be perfect then go and sell all you have; Permit me to ask you what is it in your life that you need to sell? Those things that contend with God in your life. Which you find difficult to sell for eternity sake. Let here the man's reply : Vs 22
When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
   Many of us has character that we need to sell,so that we can be relevant before God, many want to be christian,leader or worker and yet then don't want to let go of that attachments in their life.

Note:
   Sell it before it sells you out; meaning if you don't sell it,it will sell you.

Prayer; 
    Those things in my life that I need to sell out because of eternity,Lord help me recognise them in Jesus name.
