Who can I marry.

Introduction:
   Various experience and terrible things that happens to marriages even the Christian marriages has made it mandatory and important for youth to know who to marry and who not to marry in life. But the question is that are you ready to follow the steps involved in knowing who to marry and also do it?

Teaching:
  As we all know that marriage is a build where there is entering for but to exit door!!  There you obtain a certificate for lectures you you have not received and exams you have not written, reason is because you are not expect to fail. Failure is not an option because God has all possible things to make you succeed available. If you became a drop out on school of marriage is as a result of choice you made. Such as who you married,how much you know etc.

            Who can I marry ?
  Who you can't marry is more than who you can marry so because of this fact we shall first look into who those you must and  can't marry, so that you don't need to even pray or give such people a second thought.

     Let read Genesis 24:1-3
Abraham was now a very old man, and the Lord had blessed him in every way.

NLT:One day Abraham said to his oldest servant, the man in charge of his household, “Take an oath by putting your hand under my thigh.

NLT:Swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and earth, that you will not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite women.
     According to the scriptures the first issue is to identify who you can't marry;
    Abraham said swear to me that you will not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite woman, I wonder why father Abraham gone  to the extent of saying swear by the Lord! It shows the height of importance and necessity of the issue, he knows that the Canaanite women are very beautiful and alluring no man will put his eyes away from such beautiful women same with us today we have many Canaanite(unbelivers and church goers) ladies that look attractive and tempting you will find so diffult to put your eyes away when you see them same with the Canaanite Guys (unbelivers and church goers) they look so handsome and with new style of haircut and very cute outfit and very expensive as well,but bible says don't says swear you will not marry them.
    Let me pause here and ask same question;
   Can all the youth online or reading this later Promise me and God that you will not marry one of these Canaanite ladies and Guys?? What is your reply??

    Verse 4 and 5; Go instead to my homeland, to my relatives, and find a wife there for my son Isaac.”

NLT:The servant asked, “But what if I can’t find a young woman who is willing to travel so far from home? Should I then take Isaac there to live among your relatives in
1.    Vs 4 says go to my home land,let me shock someone with this; some youth even claiming to be a child of God still go to Canaan to marry because that is there homeland ,they were never born again we only see them quoting bible and singing that's why it was easy for them to go home,Cannan was  and is their home.
2.  Vs 5 the servant ask ;can I take him along to search?  Abraham frown at this meaning you are not suppose to go and search or look for her your self,let him (God ) do the searching am you do the praying and waiting.
             Who can I marry?
1. A woman you don't know.  Uhmmmmm what do I mean? Isaac never met Rebecca! That is the first know and the second one is a woman you never knew** as in .**.........You get me**?  .   You never have sex or immoral relationship with such you can marry. sisters hope you're leaning? ??Don't allow anyone to **know you** if he défilés you ,then you are a goner. I pity you. On the other hand you can't marry anyone you have ever slept with.it is forbidden; Hebrew 14:4
        Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

2. A relative ,you can marry your relative,the word relative here is being referred to Christiandom.  You are allowed to marry from the circle of genuine belivers not someone who  is not saved but his name is brother John or sister Mary,be careful not to go among such and when such comes in their cars and imported suit what will you say?. I know many people have question thinking who am I going to Mary now??

3. Verse 7;
  For the Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house and my native land, solemnly promised to give this land to my descendants. He will send his angel ahead of you, and he will see to it that you find a wife there for my son.
  The person you can marry us whom God told you, the one you saw or your pastor or mentor introduced to you.

4. He/she must be weaned from parents and others Gen 2:24, Luke 14:24-25

5.  Must be established in faith .Gen 2:7-8. Col 2:6-7
