Implementation of coming unto Jesus.

Text: Matthew 11:29
  Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Memorize; 2cor. 5:17
     This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Message:
   Today we shall examine the implications of coming unto Jesus;
A. The number one implication is to take his yoke upon us. Jesus was specific about it,so he mentioned that 'take my yoke upon you'  let me tell you about yoke; it is used to subject animals to work on the farm, two animals can be yoked together and must of the same breed,size and age brackets etc. You know why?  If goat is yoked with cow there will be problem because goat is stubborn and will not endure as cow does so when he said take my yoke upon you,he's referring to children of God, (2cor. 5:17)This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!  Jesus is talking to those that has become new in character,attitude and the spirit. Anyone that will take the yoke on himself must have been saved, only those that are saved can understand and take his yoke;
   Jesus knows that life in total freedom will end up in disasters that is why he said after we put our burden on him,we must have another thing; God's yoke.  People that carries this may not be celebrated by the people and they will not be able to make decisions on there own, people  may call them names but the fact is that the yoke on them doesn't allow them to do what other animals can do,let me tell few things as implications;
1. Don't eat what they see,they only eat what they are given; many people claim to be christians but no yoke upon them so they eat anywhere,anyhow and anything, they marry whom they like and they have sex with whom they see but a Christian with yoke on his neck can't have sex,don't not even know if anyone around is sexy or not,because there is a burden on him/her and is that of God;burden for evangelism,discipleship,church growth and holiness.
2.  They free to do what they like; if you will take Jesus's yoke on you,then you can't live and do things the way you like but the way God wants. Animals that is yoke is under a regulation;when to eat, where to go and time to do things so also a child of God under yoke is not free,Jesus must lead you to choose wife/husband, choose your carrer, business to do etc.
