Topic: What are you doing about the situation?

    The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was sleeping in the Tabernacle near the Ark of God.

Text: 1sam 3:1
    Meanwhile, the boy Samuel served the Lord by assisting Eli. Now in those days messages from the Lord were very rare, and visions were quite uncommon.

Message:
   In those days when vision has become the story of the past and the experience was not common,yet samuel stood right in mix of that situation,I leant alot from samuel;
1.  He was committed to keeping of the fire of God on the alter, are you committed to the fire of the keeping of the HolySpirit in your life? And the church or you are of the people that complain without doing anything?
2. When youth of his age are busy with the world he was busy with the spiritual things,listen to me? What are you busy doing?  That is what will determine your future or end.
3. Eli and his children are being remembered till today so also is samuel but remembered for different reasons; what will you be remembered for?  Secret sin? Deception?  Hypocrisy?  Etc.
4. Many people are really very good in complaining about leaders and church but ask them what is their work? Nothing ! When you complain is because you have nothing to offer the situation, so stop complaining about people, church ,others etc and beg God for your life.
     Samuel is a model to be considered till today,can people follow you and get to heaven? Think and start doing something about your situation.

Note:
   When husband complains at home about wasting food,wasting this and that,is because the man is poor so also if a child of God complains about  church situation or leaders without doing anything to help;check he or she has nothing to offer or is backsliding.

Prayer:
   Oh Lord help my life and give me power to stand right and work for you in Jesus name.
