Memory verse: Jude vs 9
But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)
Text: Act 7:60
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Message:
There is a virtue that is lost is the body of christ; I mean few people can demonstrate that kind of forgiving spirit even when we are hurt,tested or disappointed by unbeliever or co brlievers. You will even hear some pastors,prophets or evangelists saying "I will let you know I am called by God" or you hear " I will curse you with my anointing",which kind of spirit do you have? Because the spirit and anointing God gives is not for cursing not even your enemy.
Do you know that Deacon Stephen knew that it was the devil using those people against him so he never bother to fight them and that is why he said "lay not this sin unto them" this is a high demonstration of christian maturity and understand of how to handle situation that is beyond ordinary or physical.
What have you sacrificed for this gospel you claim to believe in? Many gave their lives,families, properties etc but here you are gathering,storing things up as if you are not going to die.
Note:
It is better to die for something than to live for nothing; if you don't live for the Gospel of Christ then you are not living.
Prayer:
1. Every nagative words spoken against my life be terminated in Jesusname.
2. I receive the grace to live for the Gospel of Christ
3. Deliver me from obsession of earthly possession in Jesus name.
