When the mystery is spoken PT. 1

Text: Matthew 13:57
    And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family

Memorize: Matthew 13:55
   Then they scoffed, “He’s just the carpenter’s son, and we know Mary, his mother, and his brothers—James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas.

Message:
   As much as bible told us to live in peace with others, the fact remains that when the mystery  of the kingdom is at our disposal the world around us will find it difficult to be in agreement with us. When Jesus returned to Nazereth,his home town people were offended him because he spoke deep things unknown to men.
    The fact remains that those who are very close to you in the past/relatives may disregard you as a carrer of grace especially  those who knew your beginning ,they may not take you as serious as others do,thinking is it not that boy or girl that we know when he was growing up, such statement about you is not to be responded to angrily because all is needed to be done is to prove to people around you that you have met with God and this is not to be done with words of mouth alone,but with :
1. Your lifestyle; let your relatives see Jesus in you by living right not attending church meeting or vigils
2.  The kmowledge of the kingdom's mystery in your mouth.
3. Let your light shine in the way you handle all you do.
4. The display of the power of the HolySpirit. Because with there unbelief Jesus still did miracles but just a few.
    
Note:
   In the days of power people will be willing. Demonstration of power make people will and do.

Prayer:
1. Power to will and do I receive in Jesus name.
2. The knowledge of mystery of the kingdom I receive in Jesus name
3. Let your light shine in me oh Lord! that darkness vanish in my life, home and family in Jesus name.
