Topic: Experiencing God's rest PT.2

Text: Hebrew 4:7
   God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Memorize:  Hebrew 4:4
   For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”

Message:
   Rest is a state of peace with where you are or what you have, either in abundance or little.
    Many are in flourishing ministry but no rest of mind (God's rest) it's means God's anointing over a man is not equal God's rest.

    ***Prosperity is not tantamount to God’s rest**** not even a key to rest,but may be a factor.

     Bible says: 'Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.' (Proverb 17:1)meaning;
1.  It is possible to have little or nothing without having God's rest.
2. It is possible to little or nothing and experience God's rest.
3. Also, You can riches and still have rest and vice visa.
  
      On the seventh day God rested; it means the rest of every man is in the seventh day and not the Job you have.

       Instead of looking into God that knows the seventh day,people rather run to the Job to settle prepare the seventh day for themselves, and that is why many did not have peace even with their wealth.

   You need to learn how to rest on every issue, you can't work better or harder than God.

     Depending on your work or academics exploits makes you look like a fool and an ingreat before God.

    Finally my brethren!, Work as if it's by work alone though with caution(rest when necessary) and trust God completely as if you have not worked.

      
Note:
   Take away your mind from your possession,achievements, certificate,influence  etc and look unto God who alone has entered the rest to help you locate it this year.

Prayer:
1. God make me realise you, as God of all.
2. 'Not by power non by might but by my spirit says the Lord'; by your spirit make me locate rest in Jesus name.

   We shall start a love dose from tommorow which I called The remedy! For two days and after which the last edition of 'Experiencing God's rest' will come up.
