The Mammon

Text: 1 Tim 6:10
     For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

Memorize: 1 Tim 6:6
    Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.

Message:
   Everything in this world was made to satisfy man, but nevertheless God does not want us to be slave to the desire to posses any of these worldly materials.
      It's a pity that the world system is making or has made us to be so conscious of money than anything else, when you value money than God I think there is an unknown god called Money which many now  serve.

     Even the work of God needs money but God is not a begger that needs people's help;
1. Don't ever think you are doing God a favour when you give money to support his work at any level.
2. Don't think when you run after money at the expense of your spiritual life or God's work, it does not make God happy because money is not ment to be ran after.

      The riches we inherited through christ is inexhaustible  but we must know that it not the riches like that of the world.

Note:
   When you run after God everything  else in the world(wealth,riches and fame)will run after you,everything in the world serves God's purpose.

   Oh Lord give me a godly desire in jesus name.
