The Mystery of Serving series 3

Text: Matthew 20:28
    Even as the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men.

Message:
     I want everyone to understand that the foundation of every greatness is in serving; Jesus christ washed the feet of his apostles and even told them that;
      Anyone that desires to be great must be the servant of others, That is the system in this Kingdom; you rise by serving.

    So when I see young people or men of God in ministry or society who are not ready to serve anyone but all they want is that people should serve them by providing their needs all the time, I wonder if is this same Jesus that spoke in the Bible is their Lord as well.
       And some ministers can't do anything for free,they are serving the congregation because of what will come from them to their pocket.

    I once heard a driver of a great man of God in Nigeria who refuse to pick up a better job when he was given, he said 'it is my purpose to serve this man of God as his driver'.......there is fulfilment in serving and joy in fulfilment.

      Serving should be according to God's purpose to fulfil his mind and bring blessing to humanity. 

Note:
   Children serve their parents and vice visa. If you don't have anyone you are serving or have served then you have not started living.

Prayer:
1. Lord lead me to where my services are needed and will be appreciated so I will be served as well in Jesus name.
