Text: Matthew 6:24
No man is able to be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other, or he will keep to one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth.
Memorise: Mark 13:13
And you will be hated by all men, because of my name; but he who goes through to the end will have salvation.
Message:
Sincerely speaking no one likes to be hated by others,everyone wants love and care. But we need to understand this fact about the time we are, everyone will not love you especially if your life is correct as a child of God, because it's was spoken by Jesus our Lord.
My reader ! Why are you seeking love from everyone ? Why are you trying to please everyone?. The day you start pleasing men so that you can be loved that day you lost God.
We have many Christians who are men pleaser and not God pleaser, I only want to tell such people that, they are not known by God but only by men. You go to church to please man! You do your job to please your boss or parents, many run church special programmes to please some members or leaders.etc
But you can change today and start living it a new life, give your best to God alone and you find out that all that matters is to run to please our maker alone.
Note:
Men you are trying to please will die but God you should please remains forever,be wise!
Prayer:
Oh Lord deliver me from the spirit of eye service,and notice-me attitude in Jesus name.
