His Yoke Series 1

Text: Matthew 11:29
    Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls;

Memorise: Lam.3:27
    It is good for a man to undergo the yoke when he is young.

Message:
    Yoke is an equipment placed on the neck of animal so that such animal can be used in the farm, so Jesus said we should take his yoke on us, this means:
1. Jesus freed us from the world so that we can carry his yoke.

2. Only when we are yoked then,it's will be easy for us to learn from him and obey him

               Why the Yoke ?
1. Any animal yoked is under the protection of the Owner
2. Yoked animals are given more attention because its must be in good health so that it's  will work well.
3. Yoked animals are not exposed to animals attack because they are always under watch and supervision.

               Implications
1. If your are not a yoked Christian then you are not under God's protection.

2. If you allow Jesus's yoke on you then He will give full attention to your life and destiny.

3.  You are will be consistently under supervision and provision.

Note:
   If you think Christianity is all about freedom to live the way you like, You are very wrong and you have been deceived.

Prayer:
  Help me Lord to accept your yoke and learn from you so I can become whom you wanted.
