When a house is divided.

Text: 1Sam 17:14
   Then Absalom and all the men of Israel said, Hushai's suggestion is better than that of Ahithophel. For it was the purpose of the Lord to make the wise designs of Ahithophel without effect, so that the Lord might send evil on Absalom.

Memorise: 1Sam 18:15
   And ten young men, servants of Joab, came round Absalom and put an end to him.

Message:
   Jesus told us that any house divided against each other will not stand; when efforts that should be used against the enemy is executed on members of a family the end of such will be terrible.

             Sources of Division
1.    Absalom nursed hatred against his father and decided to take his throne:Hatred kills faster than Ebola virus.

2. Covetousness: When you covet what a family member has or has become it can lead to division.

3. When you compear, then division is emminent, stop comparism .

                 Way out
1.  but these, measuring themselves by themselves, and making comparison of themselves with themselves, are not wise.(2cor 10:12).Only the fools compear.  You are whom God wants you to be,let others be what God has made them.

2.  If God could love us and gave Jesus to pardon our sin then no one is bad that should not be forgiven.

3. Every division is the work of the devil and he has plan with motives.
      Division in the church or any unit is the reason why the devil is winning.

Note:
  Division keeps you far from loved ones while hatred makes you an enemy; Whichever God does not stay in divided house or church.
      One of the ways to stop the devil is to put an end to division.

Prayer:
  Lord let the arrow of division shot against my home,family and church(fellowship) backfire in the name of Jesus.
