Devotional mercy

***************""""""**""""*******
    Day 3.....Morning section
     Friday 13th september2019

         Devotional challenge.
Speaker: Mrs Lawani(Asst. HM)

Text: Luke 5:1-10
...............vs 3....And he got into one of the boats, the property of Simon, and made a request to him to go a little way out from the land. And being seated he gave the people teaching from the boat...........

                 Message
Simon was not the only one fishing on the sea, meaning God choose whom to use or touch.

So this is challenge to stir our heart,  why will God choose to help and use someone and not you.
Peter's ship was available for Jesus, is your life available? Because  availability is the bases for qualifications.

Then on Peter's part he only released himself, when Jesus ask for the use, so our submission to him, usage and purpose matters.
Failure is bad experience,it makes a believer to lose confidence..because when man has tried all he could and his best yet no result, such man feels no hope and has no strength to try something else/new.

But thank God for Peter who yet without strength in him still obey Jesus by letting the net down.
But when God's mercy stepped in into scene every principle of men will be suspended.

Since our effort(salary)will not take us far, then we must surrender to him.
.....when you release your ship then others will benefit from the abundance......
Consecration is easy and without force when mercy comes.

A man that has received mercy will not lie,you will not hid your errors...mercy makes man live effortlessly.
Your relationship with the holy spirit becomes easy  when mercy is at work.
