Where is your heart?

Bread Of Life
Monday 21st October 2019.

Topic: Where is your heart?

Text: Exodus 17:3
And the people were in great need of water; and they made an outcry against Moses, and said, Why have you taken us out of Egypt to send death on us and our children and our cattle through need of water?

Memorise: 1Cor 10:5
But with most of them God was not pleased: for they came to their end in the waste land.

Message:
The Israelite left Egypt but their heart was still there, and the most important part of a man is the heart; that is why God asked for our heart ( Rev 3:20) because whatever has the heart of a man is in-charge of him.
The question is ; where is your heart? Or who has it? Is your heart with God or still in Egypt? Just like the Israelite left Egypt physical but their heart never left,so at the presence of little challenge, they wish they were back in Egypt.
If you are like them, who easily return to Egypt(in thought or speech) or your former boy/girl friends, or your former unrighteous job still appeal to you whenever you are in need, then you need to make the hard decision of where to put your heart so that your journey will not end in destruction.

Note:
Jesus redeemed your body and soul, if your heart is still in the world then, you are not of God. All activities in the church or ministry is a waste.
Hand it over to God ...in prayer.
