    ...... I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

   Love not the world...........

Message:

   A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry(Proverb 17:22) The state of overcomers' heart is to be strong, but can't be strong if:

1. If you don't take in the sufficient word of God,which gives you light and fuel for running in the spirit. Is not about reading the bible alone but meditation which gives birth to proper understanding.

2. If your heart is consistently or periodically weak, you need help because if your heart is weak you can't be an Overcomer devil will rob you of many things.

      How do you know your heart is weak?

1. When you lose appetite for spiritual things despite the fact that you know you are doing well in the spirit.

2. When you easily fall into sin which you once forsaken,whenever you experience disappointment or someone scold you.

Note:

    When you are a lover of the world you can't be consistently strong. That is why verse 15 said love not the world as a command not advice.

Prayer:

  Oh Lord rid me of the strange love for the world.

    Heal my ability to love you sincerely in jesus name
