The temptation

Topic: The Temptation.

Text: Matthew 4: 2-3
   And after going without food for forty days and forty nights, he was in need of it.
    And the Evil One came and said to him, If you are the Son of God, give the word for these stones to become bread.

Memorise: Matthew 4:4
   But he made answer and said, It is in the Writings, Bread is not man's only need, but every word which comes out of the mouth of God.

Message:
    The first thing devil tempt us with is never harmful because he has a target, so he tempts firstly with things which natural is not bad but doing it is yielding to the temptation and he will not stop their, he will go further until he has you in his cage.
      
     Jesus did not yield to the first temptation though is not wrong to turn stone to bread, but don't forget the more you obey the leading of the devil you already give him access into your life and that is the beginning.

      When temptation comes, ask your self these;
1. who is to be praised if you do that which you are tempted to do
2. If you don't do it what will happen?

   Devil tempt us with things we need and things we want, so be wise.

Note

When your desires becomes a burden you give access the tempter to tempt.

Prayer:

 Oh Lord give me grace to over temptations in Jesus name
