Christian moderation Pt.1

Text:  Philipians 4:5 kjv
    Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Memorise: Plilipians 2:8
   And being seen in form as a man, he took the lowest place, and let himself be put to death, even the death of the cross.

Message:
  Moderation is the state or quality of being moderate; avoidance of extremes.  And the avoidance of the extram has been the trade mark of Christianity since the days of Jésus, just lived a moderate life and he taught his disciples to do so, in the same way every Christ followers must do the same otherwise they will not be called Christians.

     The word moderation is actually in trouble as many people take it for granted and gave meaning they desire.

  ISV says;  Let your gracious attitude be known to all people. The Lord is near:

     The Bible is clear and simple enough in KJV to say that we should let our moderation be known.
      Bible did not allow to do anything so that people can see it, in fact he told us in the book of Matthew that when the right hand is giving arms the left should not know, but in the case of moderation, Bible says we should do it so that everyone can see it.....

Note:
   Extravagant and lavishness does not represent the life of christ, though our father(God) is the richest and the  greatest
   Ability to tame your desire is godliness!

   Lord give me the spirit of moderation that I may live to please you alone.
