DANGER OF SPIRITUAL OLD AGE PT.2

  In Solomon’s old age, they turned his heart to worship other gods instead of being completely faithful to the Lord his God, as his father, David, had been.

  What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month.

Message:
   The facts we read about spiritual old age two days ago does not mean everyone that is old as a Christian is old in the spirit,even some youth are already too old and going to their grave in the spirit realm. Solomon became old physically and in the spirit so his wives were able to turn his heart away from God,but Elizabeth was old as well but very young in the spirit so she could conceive a powerful spiritual child,which happens to be the greatest among the prophets.
   We need to watch the kind of life we live as Christians,spiritual old age is a virus that can be contacted through carefree lifestyle as solomon did,lesson from his lifestyle.
1. Don't run after all that people run after,least you fall where they did.
2. Don't spend all your strength on things that perishes,rather on eternal things.
3. Don't live to please everyone but God only;I don't mean you must be selfish.
4. Don't do or live as if you're better than others,least God rejects you.
5. Don't play with personal devotion and Bible reading
6. Don't ignore or joke with Church services or any spiritual program.
    These are some of the ways of avoiding becoming old in the spirit.

   We have great men of God who are advanced in age yet they are very active and impacting this country because they are young and strong in the spirit: e.g Pastor dr.Oludele Elijah abina of Gofamint,Pastor dr. Adeboye of RCCG. Etc.

  Oh Lord help me not to aged while I have kingdoms to take for you in Jesus name.
