DANGER OF SPIRITUAL OLD AGE PT.1

Text:1 sam 3:1-2
  Meanwhile, the boy Samuel served the Lord by assisting Eli. Now in those days messages from the Lord were very rare, and visions were quite uncommon.

  One night Eli, who was almost blind by now, had gone to bed.



Message:
  Naturally everyone will become old but God did not  wish we grow old in the spirit but He wants us to grow and become adult or strong men in the spirit, it is very dangerous to become old in the spirit,how to know you're getting old in the spirit but not growing;
1. Lost of appetite for reading the scriptures yet such will still be teaching the word of God,only from experience; which I called expired excess.
2. When you rely more on experience rather than leading of the Spirit.
3. When you don't enjoy prayer when others prayer,only when you're the one leading you do.
4. When the word of God through other men of God does not move you only what you see or speak matters.
   This was the situation of Prophet Eli until he was destroyed and his household,the same faith can befall anyone that is complacent with with spiritual aging.

Note:
  Don't get old when you still have lands to win.

Prayer:
  Oh Lord restore my life from spiritual weakness that causes aging in the spirit in Jesus name.
