SCHOOL OF VIRTUES PT.1

TEXT: 1 Tim. 5:1a
     Never speak harshly to an older man,

MEMORISE: 1 Tim. 5:2a
     Treat older women as you would your mother,

MESSAGE:
    Virtue is the inherent power of a God, The inherent power or efficacy of something (now only in phrases). [from 13th c.]
     Accordance with moral principles; conformity of behaviour or thought with the strictures of morality; good moral conduct. [from 13th c.]
A particular manifestation of moral excellence in a person; an admirable quality.
      When you closely look at the virtue you discover it can only be possessed by the children of God,but the other way is the story because the society and even the church is lacking virtue, what are the virtues am talking about;
1. Respect;  the bible verse about says ; never speaks harshly to am elderly man,meaning no matter your rank ,a pastor or bishop you're not suppose to address anyone harshly but respect them. Do you know evil have seen? The young ones mostly in the church and in the society are very rude,you question their salvation  with the way they talk and react to elders,thinking when an elder misbehave they can tell him his error harshly since they think they know better than elderly men;this is an evil   the lost of virtue in the body of Christ.
2.  Treat older women as you would to your mother; this a very important part,apostle Paul told timothy though you are a minister of the gospel yet you need to treat older as if they were your mother. But do you know this verse does not minister to our generation? ,because most of the our young ministers(Pastors),youth married or single are very rude even to their own biological mothers. You need to go some homes or listen to how youth address their mothers on phone you will wonder who gave birth to who between them.
      If you are in these categories  you need to repent because you are only planting the seed that you will also harvest when you give birth. You need to enrol in the school of virtues because virtues is the nature and habits of the kingdom people.
     Many respects other women than their mothers because they are rich,educated and well influenced, I pity you if don't repent.

NOTE:
  Even if your mother is an illiterate and will not understand things on time,yet don't talk harshly to her respect her then you will live long.

PRAYER:
   Oh Lord help me to embrace Godly virtues that I may live as kingdom child in Jesus name.
