Text: Romans 9:17
The *Old Testament says that God told Pharaoh (the king of Egypt): ‘This is why I caused you to be king. It was so that I might use you to show how powerful I am. It was so that all people everywhere might know about me.’
Memorise: Romans 9:18
So then, God is kind to whoever he chooses to be kind to. But he causes some people to refuse to listen to him. And he does that also to whoever he chooses.(Easy English bible )
Message:
There are different types of leaders,meaning there different purpose why God call each leaders so these makes their operation and grace they cary to be different.
but for now Let's go through these two types so that you will understand where you belong and what is expected of you.
1. There are experimental leaders;
There are set of leaders that God called so as to display what he can do or to fulfil something in his mind.
Some leaders are raised because God has a negative plan for them,though positive to God. Some leaders fall into this category because they always condemn their leaders so God will give them opportunity so that they can be expose and destroyed as well.
Leaders in these group would do well if they never accept leadership appointment.
2. Purposeful leaders;
These are leaders who are actually called from God's place to make them and use them, these leaders always rise from zero to become hero, from nothing to be great men. Let see one or two examples;
..." Then Samuel took the bottle of oil, and put the oil on him there among his brothers: and from that day the spirit of the Lord came on David with power. So Samuel went back to Ramah......"
Note:
David was nobody but the day he was anointed,he became a new man because genuine annoiting makes a leader becomes an embodiment of mystery!
