The values system series 4

Text: Col 2:8
  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Memorise: Matthew 17:4
  And Peter made answer and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will let me, I will make here three tents, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Message:
     Values varies from one society to another and from one social view to another social view,also spiritual perspective also determines values value placement.
      There are values that many embrace and celebrate which are founded on rudiments,beliefs and norms of the world,such people can never have part in the kingdom of God even if they claim to be Christians.

       Peter valued what he saw on the mount of transfiguration to the extent that he wanted to stay there for the rest of his life. because he valued what he saw, do you value your what you are seeing in Christ? Or your  faith in Christ?
    Do you value the fundamental believes of Christian lifestyle?; if you do;
1. It's will determine your decision about marriage
2. It's make you not to join the world in examination malpractices or any other social  vices.
3. It's will make you look away from the mentality of unrighteous desire for money.
    What you value is what you become. I don't need to hear sermon from you but only need to know and see what and where you place your desires and  values then I already know the kind of person you are.
        Many Christians will not last in faith just because they place high value on material things.
    
Note:
    Values are your desires,piority etc
Either academic,spiritual,materials,financial etc.
    Placing Values is good if your values are  founded on godliness.

Prayer:
1. Every wrong value capable of terminating my eternity,Lord set me free from it in jésus name.
2. My value for spiritual life let it increase in the name of Jésus .
