Topic: The world system,How to overcome it.

Text: Luke 2:49
    Jesus overcame the world
     And he said to them, Why were you looking for me? was it not clear to you that my right place was in my Father's house?

Memorise: 1John 5:4
    Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith.

Message:
    Many or even all Christians and church goers claims to have overcome the world because we are born of God, but the question is that are we actually free from this world we claim to overcome or she the one that has overcome us ?, many people claiming this are actually people who does not have any knowledge about the bible apart from what there 'G.O or Pastor says.

      Overcoming is not by mouth but a lifestyle,  Jesus said the prince of this world come to me but found nothing in me......meaning nothing  belonging to the world was in him.

           They found him in his father's house' ....Jesus in the house of God ......
the house of God does not mean activities in the church as many of us run to do with the world inside us and thinking we are working for God. because you sing,usher or pastor doesn't mean is for God.
       Why do I say that?........
    Who you carry determines whom you work for(what you are made of)

      Jesus said he must be in his father's house....then tabernacle was the house of God buy now after the work of redemption where/who is the house of God?
          John 4:25A....God is Spirit: then let his worshippers give him worship in the true way of the spirit.

    Being in the house of God means to be in the spirit all the time, not speaking in tongues alone that makes you spiritual but your Mind'...What is the state of your mind......

Note:
    Jesus was not a church goer like us and yet we are too far from the spirit of God......(Romans 8:14 Easy English version )   All those people who let God’s Spirit lead them are God’s sons.

Prayer:
    Lord Jesus help me to overcome the world even in the church, office,campus and in my family.

    Jesus overcame because he was and is always in the spirit....Are you spiritual?  we just call you a spiritual brother or sister and meanwhile you are a canal brother or sister...we also have canal pastors as well.

   let me Continue next time on the Jesus lifestyle on how he over came.......and let see other spiritual facts to this effect.

       How to overcome the world.
It's a pity we were taught by our leaders to overcome poverty and geneational curse yet our lives remain the same.

    this is because we only need to over one thing....which is ........THE WORLD!
          I want us to realise that world has affected all activities and programmes in the church and many of us never knew we still ignorantly follow the world thinking we are following Christ.......chai!!!!!!

    I will not to cause any problems but I will appreciate if forward your questions on things we do in the church and we can't find in the Bible. ......Think of such...then you will realise how list we are even in the church.
