Easy English version
But you, my friends, have believed the message that comes from God himself. And you must do everything that you can to believe it more and more strongly. You must help each other to believe it. Let God’s Spirit lead you when you pray.
Message:
Growth remain a very common topic in the kingdom but yet very hard to experience by many,
There are many things and manifestations which we mistakenly call growth which we must understand least we think we are growing while nothing of such is happening to us, infact there many leaders in faith which are jumping up and down without a proper knowledge of how to grow.
1. Ability to speak in tongues;
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Speaking in tongues is not the certainty that the speaker is growing, either you are growing or not once you confess Jesus you can speak and pray in the HolyGhost, because He's the spirit of our redemption.
So don't be decived by tonques praying alone that you are growing.....
Do you know your speaking more in tongues in the public or general gathering than personal prayer is a sign of infancy; because children speaks more either there is need to talk or not.....but a mantured man speaks less outside but more in thought.
Note:
The ability to sustain the the spirit of God in man became possible on the day of Pentecost, and the apostle has been hearing teachings from Jesus to help them grow, so Speaking in Tongues is not a mark of maturity or growth but Mark of our redemption and adoption.
Prayer:
Lord help me to sincerely desire the true word of God to help me grow in GRACE in Jesus name.
