Overcoming the world series 3.

Text: Exodus 34:14-15.
   For you are to be worshippers of no other god: for the Lord is a God who will not give his honour to another.

     So see that you make no agreement with the people of the land, and do not go after their gods, or take part in their offerings, or be guests at their feasts,

Message:
     Many Christians thought they can join the world so as to affect them, but the answer is a capital NO ,
      God warned the Israelites on their Journey through the nations that they should  not worship the gods they see the inhabitants of the land worshiping.
        Jesus said 'They are in the world but not of the world; but we fail to realise this so we tend to copy and bother about everything in the world.

      Don't worship their gods, they worship fashion,adventure, Technology,beauty, wealth and richies etc...... so some of us as Christians are being deceived by the church to worry and desire all these mondane things saying Our God is Rich and all that nonsense'

       Our God is rich indeed and that is why we must understand that the wealth and richies is not of this world, if it is of these world bible will not say we should be contented when we have little cloth and food.1 Timothy .

Note:
     You are a traveller through this world not a residence. You can't Carry all the fame,prosperity and fashion you are running after out of here. so be calm.

Prayer:
   Lord I break every agreement I made with the world in every aspect in Jesus name.
